Monday through Friday - Virginia Internet Technology Week

A week-long conference showcasing the latest in Internet technology. Donald Upson, Virginia's secretary of technology, will be the keynote speaker. After opening day, a series of professional development seminars will be offered on topics such as creating user-friendly Web sites and software and responding to security and privacy concerns. The last day will focus in Internet2 - the next-generation Internet - and what it holds for Virginia businesses.

Starting and closing times vary. Donaldson Brown Hotel and Conference Center, Virginia Tech , Otey Street, Blacksburg. Sponsor: Internet Technology Innovation Center.
