Microsoft Research, University Relations Announces Trustworthy Computing RFP Winners

Wednesday December 1, 2004- Microsoft Research announced the ten recipients of the TWC RFP Awards, totaling $500K in funding. Criteria for the TWC RFP was for creation of a new course or series of courses designed to introduce students to all 4 areas of trustworthy computing â€"security, privacy, reliability and business integrity. The TWC courses designed at the universities illustrate a new direction in curriculum in the area of Trustworthy Computing.

Assets will be made available to the public domain, both through Microsoft’s Curriculum repository (http://www.msdnaa.net ) and through national information assurance organizations like niatec.org.
